  • Absolutely. Pornography affects many of the same areas of the brain as addictive drugs and alcohol do. Unlike alcohol and drugs, pornography is readily available in unlimited quantities. Some would argue that this makes porn more addictive than substances.

  • It depends. Through our experience, we have found that recovery from addiction is based on the honesty, willingness, and commitment of the client. Some clients respond to longer engagement with us, while others respond better to higher intensity but shorter duration. Call us to discuss options.

  • No. While we specialize in men’s mental health, we also treat couples and partners who have been betrayed by someone who is sexually addicted.

  • We are not currently taking insurance. Here’s why:

Insurance companies require mental health diagnosis for clients to be eligible for reimbursement. Diagnosis are then available to insurance companies. Some of our clients choose to pay privately to avoid insurance providers having access to their mental health records.

We are not able to bill insurance for pornography or sexual addiction services. These two diagnosis are not recognized in the DSM-V, therefore most insurance plans will not cover them.

We cannot bill insurance for coaching, groups, or intensive services at this time.

We can provide a detailed itemized statement (superbill) to you that you can submit for reimbursement to your carrier. We suggest checking with your insurance to see if out-of-network services are covered. Many policies have out-of-network benefits

Fees: $170 per 50 minutes session; $320 per 90 minute session; $350 per Chemical Health Assessment (Comprehensive Assessment).
